Finally, some video.

I'm learning how to use the video feature on my camera AND I set up an account at MySpace.com just for this.

Enjoy!

New figures....

As promised, the figures I got in today. These are from the "Champions" line that came out to support the RPG of the same name. The overall quality was a pleasant surprise. They're decently modelled figures!

Since they aren't from DC or Marvel, they will have to be modified to fill certain roles on the chess board. If I have an idea of what that role will be, the planned modification will be detailed.

These two don't have anything planned for them yet, but the one with the cape could easily become the Huntress and make a pretty good DC hero pawn.

I don't have any firm idea here, but the guy on the right might make a pretty decent Mirror Master for a DC villain pawn.

The woman looks like she'd make a great Mystique, who I'd consider as the Marvel villain queen. The guy, I'm not sure yet, but he'll get used, without a doubt.

The little guy looks like he'll make a great Robin, just add a cape and modify his trousers and boots. DC hero pawn. I was going to use the Beastboy figure, but this one is even better. The other two, no plans yet., but the guy would work as Aquaman...
Still, I'm more in need of villains at the moment, so I'll have to mull that over.

I can see Archangel here...

Well, hello Clayface! This guy and a couple of the others today came from another set called "Elementals". This guy works as a DC villain rook, as is! All I need now for the other rook is to mold a jacket on the second "Hulk" figure I have and paint him white rather than green, with black clothes, a la Solomon Grundy. Perfect!

With a new hairdo and chest emblem, he could be the Punisher. I may not need him for that though, so I'm sure I can find an appropriate villain to turn him into...

The coup de grace, my Wonder Woman figure. I just have to file off the mask a bit and make some slight mods to her costume (bracelts etc...) and there you go. Even if the boots aren't the right shape, she's prettty damn close. The tiara might be a bit of a challenge though...

These three came painted. I have to start by removing the paint, but that's ok. They'll work into the sets somewhere...

Some more heroes and villains.

I just got these in, and this info sheet came with.
Unfortunately, 3 of these are already painted, so I have some work to do to get them ready to use, but almost everything in the box is "close enough" to a hero or villain from DC or Marvel that I can use them with minimal modification.
I think there's even a couple that will work as Wonder Woman and Mystique, so I have at least those mods sort of planned out.

Pictures of the actual figures to come later today.
