Greybishop's Chess Set

An area to update those interested in my progress as I build a custom "Marvel Vs. DC" Chess Set. Enjoy!

An old guy who you would find boring. Special skills include: Ability to eat a whole pizza in a single sitting, regardless of size; Amazing taste in comic book related apparel; My cleverest moments invariably occur when there's no audience.

And then he got ambitious...

Here is the very first figure to get paint layer three.
My fave, the Ever Lovin' Blue Eyed Thing.
A medium orange, darkened at about a 5:1 ratio with dark brown.
I've provided 4 views, all taken once with and once without the flash.
The flash provides greater detail but brightens the figure unnaturally.
The images without the flash provide a more accurate image, colour wise.

Left, flash on.

Left, flash off.

Right, flash on.

Front, flash on.

Back, flash on.

Back, flash off.

Um...
You know who Thor is? And you're a girl. It figures.
The one woman I've met who actually knows a comicbook character other than Spiderman, Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and you live like 5,000 miles away...
I'm cursed, I swear.

Well, you could move where there is no snow!!! ;) Or least come visit!!

Ok, so when I was younger (don't need to state HOW MANY years ago) my cousins and I use to read comics. We use to have a grand time going out in the wooded areas around their house and being various different things, such as being super heros (I think I was Batgirl, and yes we would costume up!) or hunting for Big Foot, or being a SWAT team. And we use to stay up late and watch those old Godzilla movies and such.

Of course, we also pretended to be Captain and Tenille, but that's another story!!!
