Prime Time.

I spent a good part of today priming figures. It's not terribly interesting, nor I suspect are the pictures terribly interesting to look at...except for the fact that I now have so many figures underway AND have paint on EVERY SINGLE figure in the Star Wars set. Here's what got done today:

Imperial Knights, Boba Fett and Greedo.

Marvel Villains Pawns, Silver Samurai and Ultron.

DC Villains Pawns, Giganta and Mordru and former DC Villains King, Darkseid, demoted to Rook now that I have Lex Luthor as the King.

Marvel Heroes Bishop, Spiderman, Marvel Heroes Pawns, Submariner and Dr. Strange.

DC Heroes Pawns, Nightwing, Wonder Girl, Wildfire and on the far right, Black Canary, along with DC Heroes Rook, Hawkgirl and Knight, Green Arrow.

Just for a change, primed in white (Since they'll be white and light blue for the most part) we have Mr. Freeze and Captain Cold. Originally, Captain Cold was a DC Villains Knight and Mr. Freeze a DC Villains pawn, but due to the obvious size difference, I've decided to switch them. Mr. Freeze is now a DC Villains Knight while Captain Cold takes his place as a DC Villains Pawn.

Finally, we come to the Star Wars Imperial Pawns, the Stormtroopers. With these 5 now primed, all 8 are at the same stage. This will be the most "assembly line" type painting in the set, since all 8 are identically clad, with only different poses.

Finally, we come to the Star Wars Rebel Pawns, the Rebel Soldiers. With these 6 now primed, all 8 are at the same stage. This will be the second most "assembly line" type painting, after the slightly simpler Stormtroopers, in the set, since all 8 are identically clad, with only different poses.

At this stage, I have 39 figures completed, with 48 figures sitting somewhere between primed and completed. That leaves 9 figures, all of which are in need of modifications before getting to the painting stage. I have the 9 figures picked out, BUT may make a substitution or two before all is said and done.
