What Can Brown Do For You?

Dark brown on Clayface (all over), Superman's head and hands, Mr. Fantastic's head and Dr. Octopus's head, collar, gloves and boots.

He's Tho Thor!

A dark-ish flesh tone over brown.

Leia.

Done.
A final touch of "rouge" on the cheeks, red lips, whites/pupils of the eyes, and a last hint of off white over the robe. Plus a black touch for her belt.

What I like about BLUE!

One coat, a medium blue, darkened with a bit of black, for Thor's pants and Superman's costume. In just one coat, blue does what red taked 5 coats to accomplish.

I also did a base brown on Thor's skin and hair.

A layer of a mixed flesh tone on Princess Leia and then some medium orange on The Human Torch. I immediately added a layer of red, using my "wet-brushing technique" and I consider him FINISHED!

Leia nears completion.

The first Non-Superhero component of my massive Chess Set Project gets one step closer to finished.

A layer of dark brown on all the exposed flesh, and on her hair. Actually, the hair is just about done with just that. A few highlights with some lighter brown and her "do" is done...

Yellow and White.

Pure white on the Princess and another layer of yellow on The Human Torch and The Man of Steel...

More...sigh...red.

So here it is. The next round of red.

This time it's "regular red".
